Your 15-lb Refrigerant Systems Are Regulated.
Log Them Like the EPA Is Watching.
Since January 1, 2026, covered appliances with 15+ lbs of high-GWP refrigerant fall under Subpart C — leak-rate math, 30-day repair clocks, chronic-leaker filings. Civil penalties reach $59,114 per day, per violation. Log a service call in 30 seconds. Get audit-ready PDFs on demand.
Applies at ≥15 lbs of refrigerant with GWP > 53. Residential and light-commercial AC/heat pumps are exempt — §84.106(a)(3).
Live demo — CU-7 crosses the 20% federal threshold and the 30-day repair clock opens.
Built on the regulations, not around them
The 2026 Compliance Cliff
Why Your Current Logbook is a Liability
The AIM Act acceleration changed everything on Jan 1, 2026. Manual spreadsheets and paper logs won't hold up in an audit.
Threshold Drop
The trigger rate for commercial refrigeration drops from 50 lbs to 15 lbs charge capacity. Smaller systems are now in the crosshairs.
Fines are cumulative. Miss a leak-repair deadline by 3 days and that's over $175k in potential liability. Ignorance is not a defense.
Mandatory Reporting
Chronic-leaker reporting is triggered automatically off the regulation's calculation method. Ref LeakLog runs your math with the exact methods the regulation specifies — every time.
Field-First Technology
Built for the Rooftop,
Not the Office.
Technicians don't have time for complex software. Ref LeakLog is designed for greasy hands, bright sun, and fast data entry.
EPA Compliance Engine
Both Annualizing and Rolling Average methods are built in. Every calculation follows the exact method the regulation specifies — no guesswork.
One-Scan Asset History
Stick a QR code on the unit. Scan to instantly see refrigerant type, charge capacity, and full leak history.
Auto-Calc Verification
We calculate the leak rate % automatically. If it hits the threshold, the app flags it immediately to schedule repairs.
The Product
What you'll actually be using
Real captures of the live demo — desktop and phone alike. Click any frame and use the product yourself, no account needed.

Fleet at a glance
Open repairs, threshold-exceeding units, and YTD refrigerant added — without a spreadsheet.

Equipment + service log
Every addition recorded with technician, EPA cert, and refrigerant type. Leak rate computed automatically — this unit just crossed its threshold.

30-day repair clock
Crossing the threshold auto-creates the repair and starts the EPA-mandated countdown. Nothing slips.

The EPA math, in the open
The same 40 CFR 84 Subpart C engine that runs the app, free to use — log two top-offs and watch the threshold trip.
Phone, tablet, desktop — one live app
No companion app to sync, no desktop-only features. The same ledger and the same engine at every screen size — log a top-off from the roof, and the leak rate, deadline, and paperwork are done before you're back at the shop.

Audit-ready PDF reports
When the inspector or the building owner asks, the paperwork already exists — generated straight from the ledger. This is the real document for the demo fleet's red unit: click to open it.
Risk Calculator
If you miss a repair deadline or fail to retrofit by just a few days.
Potential EPA Fine
*Based on the Clean Air Act administrative maximum of $59,114 per day, per violation (40 CFR 19.4).
Audit Insurance
3-Year Record Retention — Built In
Section 608 requires three years of records. Ref LeakLog keeps them append-only and inspection-ready by default, so an audit is a download, not a scramble.
Retention, Enforced
Every log entry is retained for a minimum of 3 years, meeting the EPA Section 608 record-retention requirement.

FAQ
What contractors ask before they sign up
What happens at the end of the 14-day free trial?
Your account stays — read-only — until you pick a plan. Existing service events and reports remain accessible. No automatic charge, no card required to start.
Can I export my data if I leave?
Yes. Every regulated table (equipment, service events, repairs, verification tests) exports to CSV and PDF from the dashboard. EPA Section 608 mandates 3-year retention; we make sure that obligation travels with you, not us.
Is the leak-rate math really EPA-accurate?
The compliance engine implements the trailing-12-month method from 40 CFR §82.157, with the category thresholds (10% / 20% / 30%) the rule actually uses. The same code generates the on-screen number and the PDF you'd hand an inspector.
How is my data secured?
Postgres with row-level security on every regulated table — your org's rows are isolated at the database layer, not just in the UI. Service-role keys never touch the browser. Hosted on Supabase (SOC 2 Type 2) and Vercel.
Does this work for a one-truck operation, or just shops?
Both — and every tier runs the exact same compliance engine, all 8 PDF reports, QR tagging, and 3-year audit-ready records. The only difference is seats: Independent ($29/mo) is one user, Crew ($59/mo) is up to 3, and Shop / Business ($89/mo) is up to 8 with per-technician reporting. Annual billing runs ~2 months free on any tier.
What if I get audited tomorrow?
Open the Reports page, pick a date range, download the chronic-leaker filing as a signed PDF. The audit trail is append-only at the database level, so the document you produce matches the record exactly.
Do you integrate with my dispatch software?
Not yet. Today the workflow is: tech logs the service event on their phone after the call (QR-scan or pick the unit, enter lbs added, sign with EPA cert). We're tracking ServiceTitan and Housecall Pro integrations on the roadmap.
Refund policy?
Cancel any time from settings. If the product hasn't earned its keep in the first 30 days, email us — we refund the month. Details on the Refund Policy page.
