This Cookie Policy explains how Elite Tech Global LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Ref LeakLog website and application at refleaklog.app (the "Service"). This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to website operators. Cookies can be "session" cookies (which are deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
2. Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as logging in, setting preferences, or filling in forms.

2.2 External Resources
The Service loads resources from the following third-party domains that may set their own cookies or use similar tracking technologies:

Typefaces (Inter, JetBrains Mono) are self-hosted and served directly from the Service, so no font request is made to any third party. Lemon Squeezy's practices are governed by their own privacy policy.
2.3 Analytics Cookies (PostHog)
We use PostHog, a product analytics service, to understand which public pages bring visitors to the Service and which product areas are used, so we can improve both. PostHog sets a first-party cookie (named ph_*_posthog) and uses browser local storage on the refleaklog.app domain. It stores a randomly generated identifier, a session identifier, and your opt-out preference. Analytics requests are sent to our own domain and relayed to PostHog's U.S. infrastructure.
What our analytics deliberately do not do:
- No session recording or screen capture — we never record your screen, keystrokes, or form input.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking — the identifier is not shared with ad networks and does not follow you to other websites.
- No compliance-record contents — inside the application, analytics are limited to page-level navigation and feature-usage events; record identifiers in page addresses are replaced with placeholders before any analytics event leaves your browser.
You can prevent analytics cookies entirely by blocking cookies for refleaklog.app in your browser settings (see Section 3); the Service works without them.
2.4 Cookies We Do Not Use
As of the date of this policy, the Service does not use:
- Advertising or tracking cookies (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Pixel)
- Social media cookies (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn widgets)
- Third-party behavioral targeting cookies
If we introduce cookies in any of these categories in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy accordingly and, where required by law, obtain your consent before setting such cookies.
3. How to Manage Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View what cookies are stored on your device
- Delete all or specific cookies
- Block all or certain types of cookies
- Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set
Please note that if you block or delete the strictly necessary cookies described in Section 2.1, the Service may not function correctly — you may be unable to log in or access your account.

4. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals to websites. As there is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT signals, the Service does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, since we do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies, your browsing activity on the Service is not tracked for advertising purposes regardless of your DNT setting.
5. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly if we introduce new technologies or third-party integrations. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Material changes (such as the introduction of advertising cookies) will be communicated through an in-app notice or email. The July 2026 update introduced the first-party PostHog analytics cookie described in Section 2.3.
